What the code actually gives you

After completing basic KYC, the following become available:

  • Discount. The free referral code takes 20% off spot and futures trading fees. On spot and margin you can stack a second one: buy KCS and enable "Pay fees with KCS" in settings, and the base 0.10% goes to 0.08% with the code, then to 0.064% with KCS — about 36% off in total, because the second discount applies to the already-reduced fee rather than adding to the first. The usual token-price risk applies: if KCS falls, the fee savings may not cover it.   • Welcome bonus. Sits in the "Rewards Hub": up to 500 USDT in coupons and vouchers, plus up to 10,500 USDT as a futures trial bonus. What that means in practice is in the table below.
  • Daily tasks. The "Rewards Hub" also shows temporary tasks, personalized per user.

At the default 10,000 USDT a day of spot taker volume, the code takes the fee from 0.10% to 0.08% and saves about 60 USDT a month. At 5,000 USDT a month it’s about 1 USDT, and then the roughly 100 USDT from the starter tasks matters far more than the discount. Paying fees in KCS isn’t counted here.

How we check the promo code

Every month we run three checks:

  • We log into our partner account and confirm the code is still linked to it and active.
  • We open the app in private mode, register as an ordinary new user, type the code in by hand, and watch for the green discount line.

Why the discount or bonus didn't arrive

Most cases come down to one of four things.

  • The web form showed nothing after the code. That's how the web version is built: no confirmation line. The app shows the green "20% discount" line straight away; on the web the discount simply appears on your fee rate once the account exists.
  • The Rewards Hub is empty. Tasks open only after basic KYC; until then the hub stays locked.
  • The fee rate reads 0.08%, not 0.064%. The extra step is KCS: buy some and enable "Pay fees with KCS" in settings. Without it you're on the code-only rate.
  • The bonus is nowhere near 11,000 USDT. Most of that ceiling is the futures trial bonus, which pays out only against serious futures volume. Starter tasks are worth around 100 USDT, and that's what most accounts collect.

It's a partner code you enter once, in the sign-up form. It links the account to a partner, and in return KuCoin lowers your trading fees and opens the welcome tasks. Without it you register the same way, but at the standard fee rate.
No. KuCoin has no post-registration option: the field exists only in the sign-up form, and an account created without a code stays at the standard rate.
